Men’s Hair Patch
Daily Care & Maintenance
Your men’s hair patch is crafted from 100% real human hair on an ultra-thin base. Treat it with the same respect you would your natural hair — and it will reward you with months of flawless, undetectable wear.
01
Washing
- Wash every 7–10 days, or sooner if you exercise frequently
- Use a sulfate-free, paraben-free shampoo — harsh chemicals break down adhesive and dry out the hair
- Apply shampoo gently in the direction of the hair — never scrub or rub in circular motions
- Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water — hot water weakens the adhesive bond and can warp the base
- Follow with a lightweight, silicone-free conditioner on the mid-lengths and ends only — avoid the base
02
Drying
- Gently pat dry with a soft towel — never wring or twist
- Allow to air dry whenever possible — this is the safest option for the base and adhesive
- If using a blow dryer, use the cool or low heat setting and keep it at least 15cm from the base
- Never go to sleep with a wet hair patch — moisture trapped against the scalp can loosen the bond
03
Styling
- Style as you would your natural hair — your patch uses 100% human hair and is fully heat-styleable
- Always apply a heat protectant spray before using straighteners, curling irons, or blow dryers
- Avoid pulling or tugging at the hairline — this stresses the knots and can cause shedding over time
- Use a wide-tooth comb or soft-bristle brush, starting from the ends and working upward
04
Adhesive Maintenance
- Clean and reapply adhesive tape or glue every 2–4 weeks depending on your skin type and activity level
- Use a dedicated adhesive remover — never peel the patch off dry, as this damages the base
- Clean residual adhesive from both the base and your scalp before reapplying
- Allow your scalp to breathe for a few hours between removal and reattachment when possible
05
Sleeping
- Sleep on a satin or silk pillowcase — cotton creates friction that causes tangling and matting
- If your hair is longer, loosely tie it back to prevent tangling overnight
- Avoid sleeping face-down, which puts pressure on the front hairline
06
What to Avoid
- Chlorinated pools and salt water — always rinse your hair immediately after swimming
- Excessive sun exposure — UV rays dry out real hair just as they damage natural hair
- Products with alcohol, sulfates, or heavy oils — these degrade the base and weaken the bond
- Sleeping with wet hair or skipping regular adhesive maintenance
